Salary Package: €30,000 to €42,000 depending on experience

Role Overview

Heroix is supporting our Client in the search for an organised and proactive HR & Talent Acquisition Executive to oversee a variety of human resources and recruitment activities. The selected candidate will play an important role in supporting employee lifecycle processes, recruitment operations, compliance initiatives, and engagement activities across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition: Coordinate the full recruitment cycle, including preparing job advertisements, publishing vacancies on recruitment platforms, reviewing applications, and conducting initial candidate assessments.
  • Interview Coordination: Arrange interviews with hiring managers and department leaders while ensuring a smooth and professional experience for candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Employee Documentation: Prepare employment agreements, amendments, and maintain accurate employee records in line with company procedures and legal requirements.
  • Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle: Manage onboarding activities for new employees, support internal coordination for new starter setups, and oversee employee confirmations, promotions, and offboarding procedures.
  • HR Administration: Maintain HR records and reporting systems, monitor HR-related processes, and ensure documentation is consistently updated and organised.
  • Training & Development: Assist with the coordination of internal and external training initiatives aimed at supporting employee growth and professional development.
  • Employee Engagement: Support employee engagement initiatives, including surveys and feedback programmes, while providing insights to management to help enhance workplace satisfaction and culture.
  • Policy & Compliance: Assist in the implementation and updating of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with Maltese employment regulations and applicable EU directives.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay informed on current HR practices, market trends, and legislative developments relevant to the human resources profession.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

  • Education: A qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field will be considered an asset.
  • Experience: Previous experience in recruitment, HR administration, HR coordination, or a similar people-focused role is required. Familiarity with Maltese employment law is a must. 
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of the organisation.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build positive working relationships, maintain confidentiality, and support employees in a professional and approachable manner.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with HR systems, recruitment platforms, and Microsoft Office applications is important for this position.
  • Organisation: Excellent time management and organisational abilities, with strong attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Self-Motivated: A flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic individual with the ability to work independently and take initiative when required.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle challenges efficiently, identify practical solutions, and support continuous improvements within HR processes.
