Ceek - Recruitment Solutions in Malta is currently looking to recruit an HR and Payroll Adminsitrator to join their client's team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

One of Malta's leading companies, with offices around the globe, is on the hunt for an HR and Payroll Administrator. In this role, you will support the HR Department and ensure the timely and accurate creation and upkeep of employee records. Interested? We at Ceek are looking forward to receiving your application!

What's expected of you?

  • Compile and execute monthly payroll, including processing related requests and managing HR system updates
  • Provide administrative support for daily HR operations, including maintaining and updating employee records in both physical and digital formats
  • Process new employee paperwork, enter information into payroll systems, and coordinate onboarding with relevant departments
  • Liaise with third parties regarding employment issues such as engagement, termination, and work permit applications
  • Manage and update employee records, including personal details, wage structures, leave records, and status changes
  • Oversee the sick leave and maternity leave processes, including coordination, documentation, and follow-ups with employees and managers
  • Monitor end-of-probation and contract dates, preparing necessary documentation
  • Submit statutory reports and administer the company's rostering, punching, and mobile telephony systems
  • Maintain and update records for overseas employees, ensuring accurate database management.

What are you expected to bring?

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • At least an MQF Level 2/3 qualification or equivalent certification
  • Proficiency in basic IT skills, particularly MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in both Maltese and English
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
