Corinthia Hotel St. George’s Bay in Malta is looking to recruit a Reservations Agent to join their team on a full-time basis.
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Communicating efficiently with customers, offering prompt, friendly, and courteous service at all times
- Answering calls and assisting customers in various room reservation queries, and bookings, offering adequate accommodation options, and information on hotels facilities, and being able to conclude a sale
- Offers a high level of service to enhance guests’ experience
- Processing incoming reservation e-mail requests and recording all booking details, amendments, and cancellations accurately
- Communicates effectively with all the departments
- Ensuring internal procedures are constantly being followed in accordance with the company’s standards
The ideal candidate will be:
- Logical, attentive, accurate, and able to multi-task
- Well-organised and possess time management skills
- Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
- Sales-oriented and customer focused
- Able to work in a dynamic environment
- Have excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills
- Portray a professional image commensurate with the values of the Company
- Fluent in spoken and written English and another European language
- Computer proficient in word, excel, and Opera reservations system
- Knowledgeable in Online Bookings, Tour Operators, and Corporate reservations handling
- Able to work flexible hours
- Discrete and confidential.
