Pizzaiolo

Hammett’s Collection is seeking a talented and experienced Pizzaiolo to join our dynamic team and oversee the production of high-quality pizza. This role is ideal for a passionate artisan who excels in both creativity and operational management. The Pizzaiolo will ensure consistency, innovation, and excellence in every product while maintaining a collaborative and professional kitchen environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook pizzas to a high standard, including dough making, topping, and baking.
• Take ownership of the pizza section, ensuring smooth, efficient service during shifts.
• Assist with general kitchen preparation and support other sections as required.
• Ensure all food produced meets quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work area at all times.
• Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials where appropriate.
• Follow all food hygiene, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Pizzaiolo or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• The necessary qualifications as well as food handling certification.
• Good communication skills and an outgoing personality.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of the English language and one other language will be considered an asset.
