Mercury Towers Ltd is looking for a dedicated Kitchen Steward to support our culinary team by ensuring our kitchen meets the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness. If you enjoy working behind the scenes in a fast-paced environment and being an essential part of the kitchen operation, we’d love to hear from you!
What we are looking for:
- Coordinates with other Kitchen Management team
- regarding guest orders and changing needs, including arrangements.
- Good Knowledge of HACCP and Cleaning procedures
- Valid food handlers licence
- Monitors compliance with food/kitchen rules, regulations, and laws
- Ensures that breakdown areas are built, properly staffed, and cleaned after reach function
- Ensures that all equipment, transportation carts, and other items are cleaned and ready for use at the end of each shift
Qualifications for stewarding manager
- Knowledge of sanitation, dishwashing, maintenance, and safety standards
- Has a basic knowledge of the proper use of related chemicals
- Ability to work with leaders in other departments to solve issues and concerns
- Ability to hold high standards in cleaning and sanitation
- Knowledge of HACCP system
- Minium 1 year experience as a Steward position in a 5 or 4 star property with high volumes or a restaurant would be considered
