Host/Hostess

We are looking for a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our guests. Your main duties will include greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and ensuring the smooth flow of service in the restaurant.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanour
- Manage reservations and ensure accurate seating arrangements
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Answer phone calls and assist with any inquiries or requests
- Monitor dining room for any issues and address them promptly
- Assist with taking and delivering to-go orders
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Knowledge of reservation systems and restaurant operations is a plus
