Our client, an Established Group of Companies within the Hospitality Industry, is recruiting for a highly organised and proactive Events Sales Manager for local events. Reporting to the Director of Sales, your duties will include;
Staying informed about industry trends and local market dynamics related to private events
Working collaboratively with the Director of Sales to develop strategies for maximizing revenue and enhancing guest experiences
Being responsible to achieve the yearly sales target
Maintaining a thorough understanding of hotel facilities and amenities to effectively communicate value propositions to clients
Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures in the booking and contracting process
Monitoring and analysing sales data to track performance and identify areas for improvement
Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless execution of events and exceptional guest experiences
Actively participating in sales strategy development and implementation, including upselling opportunities and lead generation
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar position within recognized hotel brands locally
Good understanding of the local market
Proficient in building strong client relationships and managing accounts at various levels.
Exceptional leadership, interpersonal communication, negotiation, and people management skills are essential.
Capability to clearly present sales strategies to a diverse group of stakeholders.
Readiness to exhibit resilience, adaptability, motivation, and a goal-driven approach.
Skilled in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and industry related management systems.
