We are looking for a responsible and experienced Night Manager to oversee our hotel operations during the night shift. As the Night Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and property, as well as providing excellent customer service to our guests. You will also be responsible for managing and supervising the night staff, including front desk agents, housekeeping, and security personnel.


  • Oversee all hotel operations during the night shift, including front desk, housekeeping, and security and represent the General Manager and Front Office Manager in their absence
  • Ensure the safety and security of guests and property by monitoring surveillance cameras, conducting regular patrols, and responding to any emergencies
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, including handling any guest complaints or requests
  • Manage and supervise the night staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
  • Handle any check-ins or check-outs during the night shift and assist with any guest inquiries or needs
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports and communicate any important information to the day shift team
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment
  • Ensure all hotel policies and procedures are being followed during the night shift
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and food and beverage, to ensure smooth operations during the night shift
  • Ensuring all interfaces are running
  • Carry our the daily closing and data back up of the software system for reception and accounting
  • Carry out regular rounds and check all areas of the hotel
  • Be comfortable with handling confidential information as you will have access to a variety of confidential information concerning guests, employees and the company
  • Be aware of HSE practices
Skill-sets and Requirements
  • Should be comfortable working night shift, unsociable hours and be flexible
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of first aid
  • Crisis management and Familiarity with security and safety protocols
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Education & Experience
  • Previous experience in a hotel management or supervisory role
  • Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
