Our client, a leading international shipyard operating within the yacht refit and marine services sector, is seeking a professional and service-oriented Crew Concierge to join its team in Malta.

The successful candidate will act as the main point of contact between the shipyard and vessel crews, captains, owners, and guests, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience throughout the duration of refit, repair, and maintenance projects.

This role is central to delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the shipyard’s reputation for operational excellence and hospitality-level service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist crew members, captains, owners, and guests upon arrival at the shipyard.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all crew-related requests and support services.
  • Coordinate transportation services including taxis, airport transfers, car rentals, and shuttle arrangements.
  • Arrange accommodation, travel bookings, restaurant reservations, and other concierge services.
  • Support crew members with local administrative requirements and day-to-day needs.
  • Liaise with external suppliers and service providers to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
  • Respond promptly to urgent requests and adapt to changing operational requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, crew members, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and operational departments to ensure smooth communication and service continuity.
  • Monitor service quality and gather feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the organisation of events, meetings, and crew engagement activities.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Concierge Services, Guest Relations, Customer Service, Hospitality, Yacht Services, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Experience within yachting, marina, shipyard, refit, or luxury hospitality environments will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are an asset).
  • Strong customer service mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional, proactive, and service-oriented approach.
  • Ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships with clients and crew members.
