HireHound Recruitment in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Breakfast Server to join their client's team on a full-time basis

Job Summary:

The Breakfast Server is responsible for providing excellent service to guests during breakfast hours, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. This role involves setting up and maintaining the breakfast buffet, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their meal
  • Take and serve orders accurately and promptly
  • Address guest inquiries and accommodate special dietary requests
  • Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet, ensuring all items are fresh and well-stocked
  • Monitor the buffet and replenish food and beverages as needed
  • Ensure the presentation of the buffet is appealing and meets hotel standards
  • Keep the dining area clean and organised, including clearing tables and washing dishes
  • Ensure all serving areas, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and sanitised
  • Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a hygienic environment
  • Monitor inventory levels of breakfast items and report shortages to the supervisor
  • Assist with ordering and restocking supplies as needed
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working order and report any issues to maintenance
  • Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate service
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
  • Assist other team members as needed to ensure smooth operations. 

Requirements:

  • Must have Food Handling Course
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel dining setting is preferred
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
