WT Continental in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Breakfast Chef to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Breakfast Chef to join our team and help us provide delicious and high-quality breakfast dishes to our customers. As a Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast items according to our menu and standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook breakfast dishes according to menu and standards
  • Ensure all dishes are cooked and presented in a timely and consistent manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of breakfast ingredients
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff
  • Create and develop new breakfast dishes to add to the menu
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or similar role
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and breakfast recipes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Ability to work early mornings and weekends
  • Culinary degree or certification is a plus.
