Breakfast Attendant (Part-Time)
The Xara Collection in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Breakfast Attendant to join their team on a part-time basis.
Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and energetic individual to fill the role of Breakfast Attendant. The primary responsibility will be to ensure our guests have an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive service and assisting with breakfast preparations and orders from our à la carte menu.
The Xara Palace has earned a reputation for being a much-loved Maltese institution and as one of the Premier Maltese restaurants decorated with a Michelin star.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Assist with taking orders and serving food and beverages from the à la carte menu
- Ensure tables are properly set and dining areas are clean and presentable
- Replenish food items and drinks as needed
- Provide prompt service to guests while maintaining a professional and friendly attitude
- Assist in preparing basic breakfast items or beverages when required
- Clear and reset tables after guests finish their meals
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed in food preparation and serving
- Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining and kitchen areas
- Handle Room Lists and Bill Transections.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work early morning shifts
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Working Hours:
- Morning shifts, typically 6:30/07:00 AM to 13:00 PM (flexible).
- 5 Shifts a week
