Position Summary

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bartender to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while providing exceptional service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, beers, spirits, coffees, and other beverages to the highest standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service while creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Recommend drinks and make menu suggestions based on guests' preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and report replenishment requirements.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Process orders accurately and efficiently using the point of sale system.
• Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure smooth service.
• Handle guest enquiries and resolve any issues professionally.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and daily bar preparation.

Requirements

• Residing in Malta.
• Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.
• Good knowledge of classic cocktails, wines, spirits, and beverage service.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Italian or additional languages will be considered an asset.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Team player with a professional appearance and a passion for hospitality.
