Security Supervisor

Mercury Towers Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Security Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:
As part of the pre-opening team, the Security Supervisor will be tasked to oversee the daily workflow, schedules and assignments of the Security Officers.

Core Responsabilities: 

• Supervise daily workflow, schedules, activities and assignments of security staff 
• Maintain daily records of security-related instances that take place on-site 
• Support in leading emergency response drills 
• Conduct inspections for physical and safety hazards 
• Monitor alarm systems and other security equipment 
• Prepare and conduct training for new hires and current staff 
• Assist in developing and implementing safety and security protocols 
• Perform regular walk-throughs and security inspections of the property 
• Serve as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders 
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements: 

• The ideal candidate must have a minimum of three years of prior experience or policing experience 
• Ability to act quickly, calmly, and appropriately in emergencies 
• Good command of both written and spoken English 
• Strong customer service skills and a positive can-do attitude 
• Hold a valid Security Private Guard license 
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office 
• Active listening skills 
• Ability to work independently and with a team 
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively 
• Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately 
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law 
• Must be able to provide police conduct.
