Health & Safety Manager

Our client is one of the most prominent companies in Malta. They require the services of a Health & Safety Manager to join their team.

The Role

• You will oversee Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) management systems for for the whole Group. 
• You will ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards, addressing environmental, health, and safety needs, including outside Malta if required. 
• You will manage the HSSE team and subcontractors, overseeing budgets, financial reporting, and setting performance targets. 
• You will ensure compliance with HSSE standards, provide specialized consultancy, and will be involved in commissioning new or renovated infrastructure. 
• You will also conduct routine and ad-hoc reporting and ensure ongoing training for staff. 
• Risk mitigation, continual improvement, and adherence to ISO and customer standards are also key responsibilities. 
• You will require interaction with national authorities, suppliers, and legal representatives to ensure compliance and reduce the company’s environmental impact. 
• You will contribute to audits, manages stock and equipment, and leads efforts for safety and sustainability.

• You will have at lest 5 years experience in a similar role preferably in a manufacturing env
