Senior Funds Manager

A highly reputable client of ours specialising in Financial and Corporate services is looking to onboard a Senior Funds Manager to join their team of professionals. This person will report directly to the Board of Directors and will be responsible for managing client relationships, task delegation, monitoring subordinates and ensuring the delivery of work by all team members within their portfolio:

Duties:

• Assist in the pre-launch phase of new client fund vehicles; launching of new funds and review of operational procedures
• Ensure that necessary controls are in place and adhered to, providing complete, accurate and timely fund administration services to our clients
• Manage the annual audit process of the fund clients and review annual financial statements
• Ensure all regulatory reporting is submitted in a timely manner
• Monitor administration fee payments and chase debtors
• Monitor and analyse timesheet, profitability and utilisation data
• Seek new opportunities to increase revenue and efficiency
• Manage team performance including ongoing one-to-one meetings, annual performance appraisals and identifying training required

• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in fund administration, 4 of which having been spent in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of IFRS and other accounting standards is a must
• Flexibility and ability to multi-task and prioritise to deliver on time
• Excellent administrative and business support skills, able to multi-task and work calmly under pressure
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• In possession of a degree in Accountancy / Banking and Finance, or ACCA qualified
