We are seeking a Transaction Monitoring Manager to lead and enhance our transaction monitoring framework, fraud prevention strategy, and regulatory compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing financial crime risk, collaborating across teams, and mentoring a dedicated team to maintain high standards.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Monitoring and Fraud Prevention
• Implement and maintain Finductive’s transaction monitoring policies and procedures, updating documentation to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for fraud prevention and detection.
• Ensure systems and controls for financial crime prevention are effective, particularly during product launches or enhancements.
• Perform periodic testing of transaction monitoring scenarios and propose adjustments or new scenarios as needed.
• Monitor transactions, customer behavior, and other data to identify and investigate potential financial crimes, escalating AML/CFT matters to the MLRO.
Collaboration and System Management
• Collaborate with IT and third-party providers to configure and manage in-house and third-party fraud prevention systems and tools.
• Work closely with the IT and operations teams to integrate fraud prevention measures into operational processes.
• Periodically review the payment flows and transaction monitoring program to align with organizational needs, client portfolios, and regulatory changes.
Reporting and Training
• Provide quantitative and qualitative reports on transaction monitoring and fraud to the MLRO and senior management.
• Develop and deliver training materials to enhance company-wide awareness of AML principles, transaction monitoring, and fraud prevention.
Leadership and Team Management
• Lead and mentor a team of transaction monitoring professionals, providing guidance, support, and growth opportunities.
• Maintain user manuals to facilitate the team’s daily tasks.
Continuous Improvement
• Research emerging payment methods and fraud technologies, providing insights to enhance the roadmap.
• Stay up to date with changes in AML regulations and industry standards, adjusting strategies as required.
Other Duties
• Perform other responsibilities delegated by senior management.
Requirements
• Proven experience in AML, transaction monitoring, and fraud prevention within financial services.
• Strong understanding of AML/CFT regulations, payment systems, and financial crime risks.
• Experience managing and mentoring a team, with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to develop and implement strategies.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills, with experience working across departments and with external providers.
• Familiarity with fraud prevention platforms and transaction monitoring tools.
• A degree in finance, compliance, risk management, or a related field is an advantage.
