Senior Finance Officer

At The General Soft Drinks Co. Ltd, we are currently looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Senior Finance Officer to join our Finance & IT Department. Reporting directly to our Finance Manager, the selected candidate will support the day-to-day financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across accounting and reporting processes. This role is ideal for a finance professional with solid accounting experience who is pursuing further professional qualifications and is eager to grow within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Operations - Issue and manage: Intercompany cheques, Shipping-related cheques, Petty cash reimbursement cheques.
• Commission Management - Calculate and process commissions for: FSV routemen, Self-employed drivers, Employed drivers, Employed pre-sellers.
• FSV Agreements & Reporting: Create FSV agreements in SAP, Allocate FSV invoices to accruals, Prepare FSV statements and reports.
• Stock & Inventory - Assist in stock-taking exercises and inventory control processes: Vendor & Invoice Management, Post supplier invoices accurately and timely, Prepare bank payments, Reconcile vendor statements.
• Management Accounting Support: Assist in the preparation of Management Accounts and support Trial Balance reviews and financial reconciliations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Higher Diploma in Accounting (MQF Level 5 or equivalent)
• Candidates currently pursuing the ACCA qualification will be considered an asset
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar finance or accounting role

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Good understanding of accounting standards and financial processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (SAP experience is considered an asset)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Team-oriented with a proactive and results-driven attitude
• Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
