The role:

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to work closely with the finance, back office and customer support team to accurately process and settle a high volume of payments daily, in line with set processes and service level agreements.

• Responsible to ensure reconciliations are performed accurately & within required timeframes, including merchant/partner settlements, reconciliation between merchant balances, bank movements and processing the amounts due to/from partners & merchants

•Funds transfer settlement processing via Fiat & Cryptocurrencies

•Commission deduction & reconciliation, reports and follow-ups for unreconciled items

•Processing transactions efficiently and accurately while maintaining high service standards

•Producing payment breakdowns, checking & carrying out account reconciliations, calculating commission & fees, payment processes and terms to merchants

•Facilitate payment operations processing and management for settlement to merchants/partners within the agreed SLA’s

•Communication as required with relevant Banks, PSPs, Merchants and internally with other departments

•Adhering to all company policies and procedures, corporate security policies, regulatory guidelines, industry service standards and compliance regulations

•Monitoring & reconciling data between payment providers and internal systems

About you:

•A good understanding of merchant payment settlement, with knowledge of payment cycles, invoicing, and reconciliation, with the ability to generate and interpret financial reports.

•Attention to detail: high level of accuracy in processing payments and managing financial records.

• Excellent time management to ensure timely payments and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

•Effective communication skills, with the confidence to deal with merchants and partners regarding payments and resolving issues. Ability to liaise with internal teams is also key.

•Accounting/finance background is useful, alongside knowledge of online payment processing and relevant technology & systems.

• Proactive and able to work well to set processes.
