Our client, a well-established investment and wealth management firm in Malta, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Middle Officer – Asset Management to join its investment team. Reporting directly to the Chief Investment Officer, the successful candidate will support daily operational and investment activities while contributing to risk monitoring, internal processes, and the overall efficiency of the investment function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the investment team with daily operational and investment-related tasks.
  • Support the investment process through administrative, financial, and analytical activities.
  • Review and maintain internal investment tools and systems.
  • Perform daily risk monitoring and related duties.
  • Contribute to improving internal procedures and operational workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with the investment team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a middle office, operations, or accounting role.
  • Degree in Finance, Investment Management, Financial Services, or a related field.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure when necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills and good IT proficiency; analytical or technical IT skills will be considered an asset.
  • Fluency in English is required.
