Group Chief Financial Officer

One of our clients is seeking a Group Chief Financial Officer which will hold the responsibility to carry out an overall strategic oversight of all finance activities within the Group while reporting to the Group Managing Director.  Main responsibilities are here under:

• Work with the Board and Senior Group Leadership to formulate and execute Group strategy for the one-to-five- year horizon
• Optimise cash and financing, providing a financing strategy for major investments and thorough research into external funding options
• Research external funding options and put in place agreements for additional sources of funds to finance future business growth
• Oversee Group accounts consolidation and prepare Group monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Supervise, review and ensure the production of timely, accurate and meaningful financial reports and analysis as may be required by the Board
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements at Group level
• Build working relationships with banks, financial advisors, insurance agencies, credit agencies, financial regulators and other financial institutions as relevant at Group level
• Evaluate, manage and mitigate financial and other risks in collaboration with the Board of Directors
• Assess business plans set by the operating companies within the Group
• Support the achievement of operational and commercial objectives which  contribute to the long-term profitability of the Group
• Support the Board in ensuring a robust Internal Audit function is in place within the Group to assess and report on the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes
• Develop a pipeline for growth through M&A activity aligned to the Group's objectives
• Provide financial analysis for the Board both when assessing potential new investments alongside reviewing performance of current business activities
• Assess future acquisitions including full due diligence and integration analysis
