Finance Executive

An opportunity has arisen for interested candidates to join Motherwell Bridge Industries as a Finance Executive on full-time basis.

Based in Malta and reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Executive will be assisting in the preparation of management accounts and will be involved in the forecasting and budget exercises. The selected candidate, shall be managing the Company’s cashflow, assist in the preparation of VAT returns, execute month-end procedures and be in liaison with the auditors during the annual statutory audit.

The position calls for an energetic and flexible individual, representative of a forward-looking Company who can interact well with all stakeholders and work under pressure.

Established in 1992, Motherwell Bridge specialises in mechanical and electrical engineering, on-site assembly and maintenance of port-handling equipment, non-destructive testing inspections, technical training, and tooling.

THE REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate, who will be a semi-qualified accountant in an advanced stage of obtaining ACCA or an equivalent qualification, will have a minimum of two years’ experience in a finance-related role, have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and able to work on own initiative and prioritize workload. Fluency in English is a must.
