Finance Analyst

Supports in the day-to-day financial operations including invoicing, reconciliations, journal postings, as well as the management of fixed assets, inventory and payables.

Responsibilities:

• Banking & Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, supporting the business's financial planning process.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Review management accounts, prepare monthly cash flow analyses, quarterly DME claims, and value chain reports, and assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Inventory & Stock Management: Maintain material master data and price lists, review and update merchandising material prices, and coordinate the planning and execution of stock takes.
• VAT & Regulatory Compliance: Assist in the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Masters Degree in Accounting (Level 7)
• In process of pursuing ACCA qualification
• Analytical Thinking
• Presentation skills
• Use of software applications
• Financial and numerical skills

Experience:

• A minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role
