Bad Boy Cleaners, a local leading provider of cleaning and sanitization services in both the domestic and industrial sectors for the past 50 years, is currently in the process of expanding its business operations.
As part of its growth strategy, the company is seeking to recruit passionate and aspiring individuals for the post of Finance and Administration Manager. Forming part of the senior management team, the selected candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for the management and direction of the finance and administration teams.
Main responsibilities include:
Financial Management
Collaborate with the Managing Director and Executive Committee in the setting and driving of organizational vision and operations strategy
Develop overall corporate financial goals and objectives in line with the company’s overall strategy
Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements
Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors
Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the senior management; administer and review all financial plans and budgets, monitor progress and changes and keep senior management abreast of the organization’s financial status
Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting
Ensure that the contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements
Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices
Effectively communicate and present critical financial matters to management
Oversee preparation of financial records, payroll, and other reporting requirements
Develop and manage a robust budgeting system across the company and prepare and present timely management accounts and other ancillary reports for periodic discussion at the management level.
Administration Management
Oversee administrative functions as well as facilities to ensure efficient and consistent operations as the organization scales; and responsible for all matters related to the operations and administration of the organization.
The ideal candidates should possess:
Minimum of an Accounting Degree or in the final stages of obtaining an ACCA or similar qualifications
Highly knowledgeable of accounting standards and procedures
At least 3 years of overall professional experience in a reputable organization
The ideal candidate has experience in final responsibility for the quality and content of all financial data, reporting, and audit coordination
Technology savvy experience in the use of accounting and reporting software
A successful track record in setting priorities; keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills that support and enable sound decision-making
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
A multi-tasker with the ability to wear many hats in a fast-paced environment
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication to the mission of the organization
Strong leadership & managerial skills
Strong sense of judgment
Timeliness, good time management
