Accountant

Our client in the Manufacturing Industry is looking to recruit an Qualified Accountant to join their team. 

Responsibilities:

• Handling and implementing current and new accounting policies and procedures
• Handling prepayments and accruals
• Supporting accounting leases in terms of inventory and consumptions with adjustments 
• Management of journal entry 
• Handle accounts reconciliations and certification to ensure all measures are up to standard
• Handling project cost amortisation 
• Assisting with VAT analysis and reporting 
• Assisting with SOX compliance 
• Assisting the Finance Manager with statutory reporting 
• Handling accounts with various different currencies 
• Supporting in the day to day duties 

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office especially Excel
• Previous experience in the Manufacturing Industry will be considered an asset
• Flexible individual willing to work in a fast pace environment
• Involves travelling

• Fully Qualified Accountant with ACCA qualifications
