Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Telecommunication Specialist is based in Malta. The Telecommunication Specialist will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunications and VOIP systems, including telephony applications and integration with 3rd party solutions. Daily tasks include diagnosing issues, implementing solutions, configuring systems, and ensuring optimized performance of communication networks. The role requires collaboration with clients and technical teams to deliver reliable and efficient telecom solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues swiftly and effectively.
• Understanding the concept of Cabling and setting up wiring systems for voice and data networks.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to excellence in installation and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Relevant bachelor's degree MQF Lev 6 in Engineering, or a Diploma MQF Lev 5 either IT networks or Industrial Electronics or equivalent, will also be considered, other qualifications in IT networks, or Telecommunication will also be considered as an asset.
• Working knowledge of Alcatel-Lucent or Cisco systems is a plus.
• Good communication skills to interact with customers and provide top-quality service.
• European or Maltese Driving License for a Light Vehicle
