Melita Ltd in Malta is currently looking for a Telecommunications Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Role:
In the Access Networks Department, the selected candidate will form part of the Networks team and will be involved in the planning, implementation, and operations of telecommunication systems on Melita’s network.
Responsibilities:
- Researching and recommending technical solutions
- Introducing new equipment and systems
- Maintaining systems under their responsibility
- Preparation of project and systems documentation.
Requirements:
- A degree in a telecommunications-related field or equivalent
- Working knowledge in WDM/PON access technologies
- Excellent communications and organization skills and a dedicated team player
- Be able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Possess a valid driving license
- Experience in the local telecommunications environment would be considered an asset.
