Site Manager (Construction)

A well-established client of ours operating within the Construction industry is searching for a Site Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of high quality projects in accordance with OHSA, programme and quality expectations.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the site team on a daily basis to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and in line with company objectives for time, cost, and quality.
• Cordinate all on-site activities, ensuring effective communication between the site team, office, management, subcontractors, and clients.
• Liaise with the office and provide regular updates on site progress, resource requirements, and key issues.
• Identify on-site problems promptly and recommend practical solutions to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Monitor the Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and identify, record, and report variations in a timely manner.
• Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with company policies, procedures, and Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
• Represent the company professionally at all times, upholding Horizon Projects’ values and maintaining a positive company image.
• Conduct regular meetings with clients and subcontractors, ensuring minutes are recorded and distributed promptly.

Requirements

• Good written, verbal and communication skills, English is essential with other language a bonus.
• Self motivated and well organised with ability to operate efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Able to work under pressure and motivate others to achieve deadlines.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (MS Word, Excel);
• Able to clearly communicate requirements and ensure that these are followed accurately.

Education and Experience

• Prior local experience in Site / Project Management in the Civil, Building & Finishes sector is a must
