We are a well-established construction company involved in a variety of building projects, as well as the in-house production of precast concrete elements. We are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to support the financial and contractual aspects of our operations. The role covers both site-based construction and precast-related works, from early planning through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for construction and precast projects.
• Issue tender documents and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs and manage variations and changes as they arise.
• Conduct regular site visits to track progress and support cost control.
• Handle contract administration, including valuations, claims, and payments.
• Support procurement processes and manage subcontractor accounts.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth coordination.
• Contribute to regular financial reporting and forecasting.
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Familiarity with local construction methods, materials (including precast), and basic contract procedures.
• Proficient in Excel and general office software.
• Comfortable communicating in both Maltese and English.
