Process Lead

Our client operating in manufacturing is looking for a Process Lead, responsible for the SSQCDP management and process improvements within the prepress departments with a specific focus on printing press service requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the divisional leadership team in implementing the strategy
• Provide expert insights to support decision-making and contribute to the annual strategic planning process.
• Adhere to and promote governance and operational standards across the division.
• Lead SSQCDP management using the shop floor management system.
• Oversee procurement, logistics, and planning, including monitoring consumption across all divisions.
• Manage work-in-progress stock and ensure stock turnover aligns with set targets.
• Facilitate team-driven continuous improvement initiatives to enhance integration and collaboration.
• Ensure quality analysis capabilities are sufficient to meet operational demands.
• Develop and refine Quality Control Processes within Prepress operations to improve efficiency and analytical capabilities.
• Regularly update and improve standard operating procedures, FMEAs, and control plans, including organizing retraining as necessary.
• Apply and uphold principles of Lean Manufacturing, including 5S and Kaizen methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Technical expertise, either through education or practical experience.
• Knowledge of quality assurance practices and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with continuous improvement techniques, particularly Lean Manufacturing.
• Proven track record in people management.
• Excellent skills in technical reporting and presentations.
