Manufacturing Support Engineer

Our client, a Manufacturing company, is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Support Engineer to join their growing team. The chosen candidate will:

• Lead cost reduction initiatives and drive Manufacturing Excellence/ Six Sigma projects.
• Improve process yields and optimize machine uptime.
• Ensure product quality standards through effective engineering activities.
• Enhance shop floor organization by implementing 5S methodology.
• Lead and participate in Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and update Process Instructions, Control Plans, FMEAs, and other quality documentation.
• Identify and implement corrective and preventive actions to meet customer requirements.
• Stop the shipment of any suspected non-conforming product
• Conduct training sessions for operatives as required.
• Provide process engineering input for RFQs and capacity planning in a timely manner.
• Maintain and update tool inventory as needed.
• Raise documentation for new tool orders and optimize tool design to improve productivity and yield.
• Lead qualification and introduction of new processes and machines in the manufacturing area.
• Address engineering-related concerns raised through the anomaly system.
• Participate in “Gemba” walks and stand-up meetings.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.
• Communicate safety performance and participate in risk reduction plans.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 14001 environmental management system requirements and ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management system standards.
• Promptly report any hazards, near misses, or incidents to area management.

• Be able to work in a team and maintain relationships both internal and external;
• Be able to work on own initiative.

• Graduate in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering;
