Our client, a worldwide leader in trusted identity solutions, is looking for a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to streamline production processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving process improvements, problem resolution, and project management, with a focus on enhancing manufacturing processes for cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency. 
  • Managing the OPEX system, facilitated communication with local and global teams, and lead New Product Introduction transitions from design to production.
  • Deploy Lean methods and productivity initiatives to foster a continuous improvement. 
  • Conduct product trials, research and develop manufacturing processes, and prepare and deliver training and implementation plans.
  • Approve production orders, manage technical specifications for purchasing materials, and represent the cross-functional teams. 
  • Support operations management by improving production control, safety, quality, and training, while prioritising high-impact process changes to achieve measurable results in cycle time reduction and cost savings.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday

Requirements
  • An excellent level of written and verbal Maltese and English
  • Skilled in change management, including predictive planning and follow-through
  • Excellent organisational, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in project management
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical decision-making abilities
  • Process-driven approach
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in analysing Statistical Process Controls and techniques
Education and Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies
  • Green or Black Belt Six Sigma certification preferred
