Manufacturing Engineering Manager

• Our client is a leading Maltese producer of alcoholic beverages.

• Assess and improve manufacturing processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and speed;
• Plan and oversee technical workflows, optimizing resources for maximum output;
• Streamline facility layouts, production lines, and machine operations to boost performance;
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and delays promptly;
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining or improving product quality;
• Provide training and guidance to staff on new and existing processes;
• Work closely with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations;
• Introduce and implement new technology to improve systems and processes;
• Lead the Maintenance and Engineering Department, ensuring effective day-to-day operations and communication with other departments;
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in manufacturing processes;
• Serve as the primary contact for all government and regulatory agencies when needed.

• Hold a university degree in Engineering and possess an engineering warrant;
• Bring 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing environment;
• Hold a valid driving license.

• Demonstrate a strong history of driving employee engagement and development to optimize productivity and meet deadlines;
• Uphold a strong commitment to health and safety standards, along with adherence to environmental regulations;
• Possess project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently;
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
