Role Overview 

The company is seeking an experienced IT Service Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing top-notch IT support and solutions to our Client's diverse clientele.
 

Key Responsibilities

• IT Support: Provide expert IT support and troubleshooting to clients, both remotely and on-site.
• System Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain Linux, Cisco firmware, VLANs, VPNs, and Microsoft systems.
• Database Management: Manage and optimize databases to ensure efficient performance.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver exceptional service to clients.
• Service Standards: Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

• Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in an IT service company.
• Linux Proficiency: Proficiency or certification in Linux.
• Cisco Certification: CCNA/CCNP certification or relevant experience with Cisco firmware, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Microsoft Certification: Microsoft certification or demonstrable experience.
• Database Management: Strong database management skills.
• Flexibility: Ability to work flexibly both on-site and in-office.
• Teamwork & Communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Assessment Process

• Technical Test: Candidates will undergo a hands-on technical test. This will involve setting up and configuring the components that they are knowledgeable about from the following list:
  • Configure Cisco ASA (Firepower 1010)
  • Set up Hyper-V
  • Install and configure Windows Server
  • Set up a Domain Controller (DC)
  • Configure a client machine
• Based on the result from this test, the candidate will be considered for 1st Tier Support, 2nd Tier Support, or Engineer roles respectively.
