Engineer

Given that, we're recruiting a technical and highly skilled Engineer to join our Service and Maintenance team on a Full Time basis.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Evaluating the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of biomedical, scientific and industry-based machines, equipment and software
• Diagnosing and repairing issues in medical devices (ex imaging systems, lab equipment) which are connected to IT networks
• Supporting clients by resolving technical problems quickly to avoid disruptions in patient care or laboratory processes
• Ensuring installed equipment communicates properly across networks
• Maintaining up-to-date service histories of specific machines and equipment
• Educating, training and guiding clinicians and other service personnel on machine best practice
• Providing timely, detailed and accurate reports on service work performed, equipment/software performance, expenses required, time allocations etc.
• Developing, maintaining and improving relationships with customers through expert advice and specialist service provision
• Providing feedback and working closely with service managers and site managers to achieve best equipment/software optimization for productivity and lifespan
• Assisting in the development and improvement of service and maintenance processes and information
• Continuously developing effective troubleshooting methods for providing remote assistance to customers

Qualifications, Experience & Key Skills Required:

• Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical Engineering / Biomedical Engineering
• Valid driver's licence
• Professional with strong technical acumen
• Minimum of 3 years experience within an engineering or technician role
• Meticulous attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• Excellent report writing, communication and I.T. skills.
