Automotive Operations Engineer & MRB (Material Review Board)

STMicroelectronics (Malta) is currently looking to recruit an Automotive Operations Engineer & MRB to join their team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable as ADG QA representative to drive the MRB processes (daily meeting) managing the maverick lots (NCL material) for Assembly, Final Test and Finishing
- Data retrieval and analysis are performed, for fast and safe material disposition
- Assure that the right methodology is in place (8D and risk assessment)
- Co-responsible for the final decision in case of dispute and activation of the escalation path inside ADG and in the manufacturing plants whenever is required
- Responsible to guarantee the proper loop closure is activated from MRB (assuring prevention processes are activated).
- Accountable for the definition and plan of the implementation of Automotive Quality Gate Tools (SBL, SYL and Fire-wall) in each phase of the supply chain related to production
- Regularly reviewing the applied limits and criteria
- Supporting the local PE team, QA, IE and Manufacturing for the development, growth, and smooth implementation of ADG Key projects
- Following the relevant steps in the qualification and industrialization phases (including trial follow-up). Supports general actions for yield enhancement
- Ensuring the timely resolution of both Supply-chain constraints and process-related quality issues through the Teams coordination with all Production Plants involved (ST and Subcontractors)
- Acting as a catalyst of information sharing between Local manufacturing teams and ADG counter-parts organizations by creating a Management Reporting of Key Indicators
- Managing and Growing a solid and highly skilled Automotive Operation Team focused on enhancing the supply chain steps (Local ADG OP/QA is accountable).
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field
- Be knowledgeable on basic electronics (digital)
- Preferably have experience in semiconductor industry processes (Assy & Test)
- Be proficient in Statistical Data Analysis
- Have good problem-solving capabilities
- Be able to work well within a team
- Be willing to take a challenge and work in a very fluid environment.
