Mechanical Draughtsperson

Position Description:

Kencar Group of Companies in Malta is looking to recruit a Mechanical Draughtsperson to join their team on a full-time basis.

Department: Projects

Title: Draughtsperson

Job Purpose:

The Draughtsperson shall provide accurate solid models and detailed drawing changes.

Main Duties (KPIs):

1) Responsible for providing detailed drawings and assembly drawings 3D modeling;

2) Makes any necessary changes to existing models or drawings;

3) Transforms initial rough product designs or sketches into working models and documents;

4) Maintains relationships of models and drawing files in an organized fashion;

5) Maintains a database of drawings and transmitted documents;

6) Creates detailed drawings for various projects;

7) Provide technical support to various personnel as needed;

8) Performs basic drafting assignments in support of Project Management & operations;

9) Meet all deadlines as required by the Project schedule;

10) Issue final documentation.

Requisites:

1) Thorough knowledge of drawing standards and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing;

2) Working knowledge of configuration control;

3) Knowledge and experience in AutoCAD (essential);

4) Ability to meet simultaneous project deadlines;

5) Experience with Bill of Materials structures and databases.
