Junior Draftsperson

DB Architects in Gozo, Malta is currently looking to recruit a Junior Draftsperson to join their team on a full-time basis.

Main duties / Responsibilities:

• Drafting of drawings for Planning applications (in Auto-Cad)
• Assisting architect with daily tasks
• 3D Illustration and presentations (in Photoshop, Sketchup) - considered a bonus
• Gathering information about sites; including surveying of buildings and photographic analysis and documentation
• Addressing, communicating with, and preparing information as required from The Planning Authority and other entities on projects
• Extracting information from GEO- SERVER and the Planning Authority website
• Running office-related errands as required
• Site visits on projects.

Requirements:

• An ability to use AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of local Planning laws will be considered a plus but training will be given
• Organizational skills at the office
• Basic knowledge of onsite measurements and documentation
• Fluent in English.
