A reputable client is seeking a Receptionist to join their team. The ideal candidate should be organized, professional, and capable of working both independently and within a team. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Answer telephone calls professionally and courteously, providing accurate information.
  • Welcome visitors, ensuring they are comfortable while notifying the appropriate internal contact.
  • Issue APS visitor cards, maintaining records of issuance and return times.
  • Arrange parking spaces for visitors at the APS Centre Garage as required.
  • Coordinate messenger schedules at the APS Centre.
  • Manage meeting room bookings as needed.
  • Oversee the distribution of mail or provide relevant notifications to departments in a timely manner.
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned by line management.
  • Prepare and submit reports, and participate in projects and activities as directed.
  • Ensure compliance with the Bankโ€™s policies, guidelines, and procedures at all times.
  • Maintain a high standard of work and service delivery.
  • Perform standard office duties such as handling mail, answering calls, ordering supplies, and filing.
  • Attend training sessions as required by the Bank.
  • Undertake any additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Maltese and English is a must. 
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Team-oriented yet capable of working independently when needed.
  • Committed to self-development and comfortable in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Prior experience in administrative roles.
  • Higher education qualification or equivalent.
