The position of Front Office Agent will report to the Front Office Manager. This role is a key position in the day-to-day operations of the Front Desk and has direct impact on the hotel’s profitability.
SCOPE
Responsible for the effortless and seamless arrival / departure procedures of all guests. Ensure that the services provided are consistent with Hotel standards at all times in order to meet / exceed guest expectations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Be an expert on all Front Office Standard operating procedures and systems used.
• Maintain good working relationships and open lines of communication with all other departments and own team.
• Verify that accurate room status counts are taken at the proper times and that the information is relayed to those concerned.
• Maintain continuous contact with Hotel Guests to ensure that any problems or guest challenges are quickly, efficiently and courteously.
• Uphold the Hotel’s commitment to gracious hospitality and follow through on staff courtesy training programs.
• Prepare all requested reports and data as needed.
• Work within the Hotel budget, practice selling techniques, maintain continuous control of the Room Rack to ensure maximum Room Revenue.
• Ensure that all check cashing and credit policies are followed.
• Wear proper uniform at all times; require all employees to wear their proper uniforms at all times.
• Preparing for arriving guests and making sure that guests have an excellent experience.
• Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
• Reviewing Masters Arrival Report and communication profile preferences with all departments concerned.
• Meeting and exceeding allocated departmental budgets.
• Being proficient on GXP.
