Customer Sales Agent (Receptionist)

Hilton Malta is seeking to recruit a Customer Sales Agent (Receptionist) on a part-time basis within the Front Office Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and people-oriented individual to join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate will be an energetic professional who enjoys working with people, demonstrates excellent communication and customer care skills, and is confident in the use of computer systems.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will assist in the following:

1. Welcoming guests to the hotel and ensuring a seamless, enjoyable, and memorable stay

2. Managing efficient check-in and check-out procedures in line with Hilton standards

3. Maximising revenue through effective Rooms and Food & Beverage upselling, while achieving departmental targets

4. Handling guest enquiries, requests, and feedback promptly, consistently exceeding guest expectations

5. Coordinating with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction

6. Maintaining accurate guest records, billing, and cashiering procedures

7. Providing information about hotel services and local attractions, and assisting with reservations or special arrangements

8. Resolving guest complaints professionally and in a timely manner

9. Ensuring compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards

10. Carrying out general Front Office duties and supporting the team in daily operations

Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

• Present a smart and professional appearance

• Have a minimum of one year’s experience in the hotel industry, preferably within a similar role in a five-star environment

• Possess an excellent command of the English language

• Be willing to work both day and night shifts, as required

The following qualifications and skills will be considered an asset:

• ITS qualification (or equivalent)

• Knowledge of the Opera system

• Knowledge of Maltese

• Additional foreign languages, particularly Russian, German, French, or Italian
