Interior Designer

Construct Furniture in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Interior Designer to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Interior Designer. The ideal candidate will have a strong aesthetic sense, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget for interior design projects
• Develop design concepts and present them to clients for approval, incorporating feedback as necessary
• Create detailed floor plans, 3D renderings, and design specifications for residential and commercial spaces
• Select and specify furniture, fixtures, materials, and color schemes that align with the design vision and client preferences
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of design projects
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and timelines
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative design solutions
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Interior Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of building regulations, and safety standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects
• Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for aesthetics and design trends
• Certification from a recognized professional organisation.
