Job Vacancy:  Interior Design Draughtsman

Our client is a highly respected multi-disciplinary consultancy providing high-quality design solutions to high-end projects throughout Malta and further afield. Undertaking projects from high-end retail establishments to 5* hotels, this organisation’s Interior Design department consistently delivers on making the most of interior spaces. Due to a consistent increase in workload, a CAD Draughtsperson is now required to join the expanding team. The Department Manager hopes to source an individual who wishes to develop within the organisation, helping to deliver projects on time, within budget and to exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in concept design and feasibility, interior design and decoration, schematics, design development and design coordination, procurement, supervision of works and certification;
• Producing detailed documents, plans and technical drawings such as, but not limited to, floor plans, elevations, and joinery detailing FF&E specifications and procurement documents;
• Ensuring project Quality Assurance confirmed with feedback from clients throughout the lifecycle of projects, while implementing the necessary rectifications when needed to ensure quality standards are achieved;
• Assisting with product procurement for the various design projects;
• Developing presentations and/or presentation material and delivering to clients and stakeholders as necessary;
• Assisting with on-site installation and supervision of interior spaces at different stages;
• Supporting the development of BIM in the Interior Design department and the Company.

Requirements:

• Possess excellent AutoCAD software experience;
• Be confident producing fully co-ordinated and accurate drawings;
• Be fluent in English;
• Have strong presentation skills;
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment;
• Have good previous experience on interior projects.
