CAD CAM Designer Assistant

Construct Furniture in Malta is currently looking to recruit a CAD CAM Designer Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
As a CAD CAM Designer Assistant at Construct Furniture, you will be an integral part of our design and engineering team, supporting the creation of precision-engineered models and contributing to the manufacturing process.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for CAD-CAM design and a desire to grow their skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation of 2D and 3D CAD models using industry-standard software
• Support the CAD CAM Designer in developing CNC programs for machining and manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and specifications
• Research emerging design trends, materials, and technologies
• Assist in design reviews and implement necessary changes based on feedback
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards in all design work.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of CAD software and a willingness to learn
• Eagerness to develop skills in CAM software 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design specifications
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
