As we grow and develop, we are now seeking a highly motivated and organized Senior Executive Manager (Contracts/Claims) to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and analysing construction contracts, ensuring that all terms and conditions are in compliance with company policies and legal requirements, both Pre-Tender and Post Contract stages
  • Identifying possible construction claims analysing the situations and determining the validity and merit of each claim
  • Negotiating contract terms and conditions with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring that all agreements are fair and equitable, and preparing subcontract/supplier Agreements
  • Managing the contract administration process, including the issuance of change orders, the resolution of disputes, and the close-out of contracts
  • Monitoring contractor and subcontractor performance, ensuring that all work is completed on time and in accordance with the contract
  • Preparing and presenting claims, reports and testimony in support of construction claims including time impact and disruption claims
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate and complete contract records, including correspondence, contracts, change orders, and other related documents
  • Monitoring the progress of construction claims and providing regular updates to management and other stakeholders
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that contracts are effectively managed and executed
  • Assisting with the preparation of bids and proposals, ensuring that all contract terms and conditions are accurately reflected and properly recorded.


Professional and/or Experiential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction contract management, including experience with contract negotiation, administration, and dispute resolution
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, contract law, and different forms of Contract
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including management, contractors, and clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and contract management software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
