Our client, a well established law firm is seeking to recruit a Private Clients Executive to join their growing team. The selected person will have the following responsibilities:

  • Processing of applications for immigration visas, Maltese citizenship, Maltese residence and Family reunification options in line with the current legislation
  • Liaising with clients and ensuring that immigration questions are being dealt with professionally, and excellent standards of client service are also being maintained
  • Creating, maintaining and reviewing an effective immigration compliance environment that allows the identification and lawful conduct in respect of immigration conditions and keeping track of the multiple deadlines and annual obligations of clients
  • Providing guidance and education to introducers and co-operators and other relevant audiences on immigration related matters that promote a greater understanding of immigration, citizenship and residence options in Malta
  • Contributing to the creation and production of marketing materials, articles, pamphlets and maintenance of the citizenship and residence webpages of the company's website
  • Checking and approving payment of fees and contributions requested by various Government authorities in line with the financial aspects of immigration applications
  • Keeping abreast with citizenship and residence procedures and ensuring they remain fit for purpose and in harmony with current legislation, policy and best practice
  • Developing, implementing, monitoring and maintaining an effective compliance environment for clients, which sufficiently encompass those compliance requirements of the relative authorities and the company
  • Investigating allegations of breaches of immigration law and take appropriate action where necessary, preparing files for submission to Identity Malta, the Malta Individual Investor Program Agency, the Central Visa Unit and the Malta Residence and Visa Agency, as well as be able to provide information to the Appeals Board in respect of immigration cases which have been rejected
  • Working constructively and professionally with any related partner agencies, government bodies as well as embassies
Skill-sets and Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role. Candidates who have worked within a legal framework will be given preference
  • Have a good understanding of the multiple locally related government bodies as well as good knowledge in relation to the Maltese and European rules and legislation
  • Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Meticulous with an eye for detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
