About the Role
Within this role you will be reporting to the Deputy Legal Counsel responsible for Legal Affairs and will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
About You
You are in possession of a University of Malta Degree in Law (LL.D., Master of Advocacy or Master of Notarial Studies) or a comparable recognised legal qualification at National Qualification Framework Level 6 or better, duly certified by the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC) and a minimum of three years’ work experience in a relevant or closely related role.
A diploma in legal drafting and, or post graduate degree in a discipline relevant to the financial services sector would be considered an asset.
You are fluent in, and have a strong command of, the English and Maltese languages, both written and spoken, to the effect of having excellent communicative and argumentative skills, which enable you to work effectively within a team and with members from other departments and external stakeholders with the required tact and discretion.
You also have critical thinking skills, an analytical eye and are well versed in legal drafting.
