Corporate Services Officer

A reputable company operating in the Legal sector is looking to recruit a Corporate Services Officer to join their Corporate Governance team. The chosen candidate will benefit from great exposure to a vast portfolio of clients as well as career progression.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact with assigned client companies, liaising regularly with board members and other representatives.
• Prepare and organise agendas, supporting documents, and packs for board, committee, and annual general meetings 
• Attend meetings, take precise and timely minutes, and ensure follow-up on action items.
• Draft board and shareholder resolutions as needed.
• Handle the preparation and filing of statutory forms and annual returns with the MBR
• Participate in meeting discussions when appropriate, providing guidance on legal and governance implications of proposed policies.
• Keep abreast of changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory landscape.
• Coordinate with external advisers, including auditors and other service providers.
• Support clients with day-to-day operational needs and ad hoc requests.

Requirements

• Sound knowledge of corporate matters and related MBR procedures
• Diplomatic, sophisticated with good organisational and time management skills
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Able to multitask and manage a portfolio

Education and Experience

• Previous local experience in a corporate administrative role
