A well-established client of ours operating within the Shipping & Maritime industry is searching for a Container Control Assistant to join their tight-knit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Tracking and monitoring the movement of containers in and out of the facility
Coordinating the discharge and loading of containers in accordance with safety regulations
Planning the relevant vessels connecting to Malta whilst liaising with the agency at hand, Malta freeport terminals and the relevant internal stakeholders to ensure that all containers are delivered on time and in accordance with customer requirements
Maintaining accurate records of all container movements and ensuring that all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
Assisting with the development and implementation of container control policies and procedures
Skill-sets and Requirements
Candidates must be already based in Malta, with the legal right to work in Malta
Excellent command in Maltese AND English is a must
Highly organised, meticulous, mature and flexible
A multi-tasker who is able to work under pressure and to very strict deadlines
Proficient in MS tools
Education & Experience
O' Level Standard of Education as a minimum
Previous experience in a similar role or administration is mandatory
