Compliance Officer

One of our clients is looking for a Compliance Officer to join their team on a part-time basis
Responsibilities
- Reviewing documents to make sure they are compliant with the regulations.
- Drafting file notes and following up on sanctions.
- Frequently monitor clients via dedicated portals and make sure that no adverse media or newly imposed sanctions have been issued.
- Keeping abreast with new laws, regulations, directives and guidelines with regards to AML/CFT – this sometimes includes attending training.
- Carry out due diligence reviews for existing clients.
- Reviewing loans, share purchase agreements, services agreements, and trusts according to what is required on a day-to-day basis.
- Organise meetings with clients or auditors to elaborate on the KYC documents required.
- Other ad-hoc duties that might be required from time to time.
- Minimum of 2-3 of previous experience within a similar role
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
- Bachelors in Criminology or similar
